About

Hi, I’m Annie.

My path into social work and therapy started with a genuine curiosity about people. Their stories, their resilience and the ways we survive things we never expected to face.

For over a decade, I have provided counselling and psychotherapy to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, psychosis, mood disorders, substance misuse, relational challenges and major life transitions. My training includes a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Toronto, with special distinction in Mental Health. My professional experience includes working for hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area.

My practice is guided by a strengths-based and recovery-oriented approach, integrating various modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

My aim as your therapist is to help you identify blind spots and assist you with making meaningful change at your pace. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe healing can include humour, honesty and genuine connection. My approach is compassionate yet direct, helping people feel both accepted and challenged.

If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, I would be humbled and honoured to work with you.
