About

Hi, I’m Annie.

My path into social work and therapy started with a genuine curiosity about people. Their stories, their resilience and the ways we survive things we never expected to face.

I completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Toronto, where I specialized in Mental Health. Since then, I’ve worked in both community agencies and hospital settings, providing counselling and psychotherapy to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, psychosis, mood disorders, substance misuse, relational challenges and major life transitions.

I aim to support you with identifying blind spots while creating meaningful change at your pace. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe healing can include humour, honesty and genuine connection. My approach is compassionate yet direct, helping clients feel both accepted and challenged.

My practice is guided by a strengths-based and recovery-oriented approach, integrating various modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, I would be humbled and honoured to work with you.
